Alarm output
The alarm output is a hardware toggle switch of NC (normal close) and NO (normal
open) --- sometimes called dry-contact relay. In the event the camera receives
trigger signal from one of the eight alarm-inputs, the output ports will swap their
states depending on your OSD setting (i.e. the NC port will turn into OPEN
condition, and the NO port will become CLOSE). The changing state can be used
for activating various external alarm devices, such as siren, recorder, alarm-light or
call-out system.
Depending on your OSD setting, alarm-on status will be automatically relieved from
the triggering point and PTZ will be back to the original conditions. To relief system
the alarm-on status earlier, please use the MANUAL OFF on the controller (subject
to the function's availability to the controller)
This camera is equipped with 2 dry-contact relays. The setting for linkage between
inputs and these two relays is available on OSD menu – see the OSD menu for
detail and procedure
Warning:
The NC/NO port provided by alarm-out is a mechanical contact relay.
Make sure the device connected to the alarm-output does not drain current
over than 0.5A and the voltage is not higher than DC 24V or AC 250V. Any
load over these may damage the output port permanently.

This camera can be operated remotely by IR remote
controller (a kit of remote handset and receiver is
available for purchasing).
Find a suitable place, which is good for holding the
receiver, nearby the camera. Peel the protection
paper off the sticker, and stick the receiver on place.
Get the input jack captive to the camera. Insert the
receiver plug to the jack. The receiver will be powered by camera, and becomes
ready for receiving command from handset
Point to the receiver with handset and press the function button to make control to
the camera.
