FILTER CLEANING
CAUTION: Do not operate blowers when filters are
removed.
The filters fitted by the factory are intended to filter out residue and grease from cooking.
They do not need to be replaced on a regular basis but are required to be kept clean.
• To prevent oil dropping on the range, do not accumulate oil over more than 80% of the filter surface.
• The filters must be cleaned once a month using non-abrasive detergents, either by hand or in the dishwasher.
set the dishwasher to a low temperature and a short cycle setting.
• When washed in a dishwasher, the grease filter may discolor slightly, but this does not affect its filtering ability.
• Dry filters and re-install before using hood.
FILTER REPLACEMENTs
should filters wear out due to age or prolonged use, replace with an aluminum grease filter (with stainless steel clips).
NOTE: Also replace a damaged filter that has punctures or a
bent or broken frame.
LIGHT BuLB REPLACEMENT
WARNING: Make sure light bulbs are cool. Light bulbs can
become extremely hot when turned on. Do not touch bulb until
switched off and cooled. Touching hot bulbs could cause serious
burns.
NOTE: If new lights do not operate, make sure the light bulb is
inserted correctly.
should the light bulb burn out due to age or prolonged use:
1. Turn bulb counter-clockwise to remove it.
2. Insert a new Gu10, twist and lock light bulb base (MAX. 35W/JDR 16)
and turn clockwise to install the light bulb. Do not release the bulb
until you are sure the bulb has been securely installed.
