Bluetooth Control
Voice Recognition
You can access the voice recognition function
of the cell-phone connected to this unit.
You can search the cell-phone phonebook
by voice. (The functionality depends on the
cell-phone.)

Press the <TEL> button for 1second.
Voice Recognition screen appears.

Start speaking.
NOTE
• You can use voice recognition function by
touching [ ] on the Hands Free screen.

Smartphone Link

When you install the Garmin Smartphone
Link app into your Android smartphone and
connect with the unit via Bluetooth SPP, you
can use some information linked with the
navigation such as parking lot, fuel price, live
traffic camera, weather forecast and traffic
condition.
Preparation
• Search for "Smartphone Link" in the Google play
and install the latest version on your Android.

To enter STANDBY source, touch
[STANDBY] icon in the Top Menu screen.

Register the Android smartphone.
See Application link setup

Press the <NAV> button.
Navigation screen appears.
Touch [Apps] on the Main Menu screen and
then touch an icon of your desired content.
