Troubleshooting
No Dial Tone
Go through this checklist until problem is solved:
1. Make sure the telephone is plugged into the correct port of Phone 1.
2. Make sure the green Power LED is solid lit. If it is not lit, check the power cord. If it is blinking wait
few more minutes with the phone on hook.
3. Make sure the green Internet LED on the back panel of the Phone Adapter is lit, and then pick up the
telephone; you should now hear a dial tone.
How to Properly Reboot
1. Power off your modem by unplugging the power adapter.
2. Power off the router by unplugging the power adapter.
3. Power off the Phone Adapter by unplugging power adapter.
4. Wait two (2) minutes, then power on modem by plugging power adapter into an electrical outlet.
5. Wait five (2) minutes, then power on the Phone Adapter by plugging power adapter into an electrical
outlet.
6. Wait two (2) minutes, then power on the router by plugging the power adapter into an electrical
outlet.
7. Reboot your computer and check for an active internet connection.8. Pick up the telephone. You
should now have a dial tone.
