Station preset memory

All except FM AST stations
Up to 10 preset stations can be set
for each waveband. To store a
preset, tune into the desired station
and then press and hold a button 1
to 0. To recall a stored preset press
button 1 to 0. or
Rotate the SELECT button to view
the FM stations. Press the SELECT
button to activate the selection.
FM AST stations
Select STORE or long press the
RADIO button. The unit will
automatically find and store the
strongest stations in the area.

Advanced radio settings

See System settings (page 10).

Sound settings

Press the SOUND button to access
the settings.
Rotate the SELECT button to adjust
the feature setting. Press the SELECT
button to activate the setting.
The BALANCE control is used to
adjust the sound distribution between
the left and right speakers.
The FADE control is used to adjust
the sound distribution from front to
rear.
Audio operation

The TREBLE and BASS controls
adjust the high and low audio
frequencies respectively. These
settings may be customized for each
source.
The LOUDNESS control boosts the
lower frequency range at low
volumes to achieve a fuller sound.
The COMPRESSION feature can
be turned on or off. With the feature
on, quieter music is boosted and
louder music lowered to minimise
repeated volume adjustments.

CD OPERATION

Note: For sound setting information
See Radio operation (page 19).
Press the CD/AUX button.
If a CD is loaded this will start playing,
otherwise a warning will appear
advising that the CD slot is empty.
Note: Pressing the CD/AUX button
repeatedly will toggle between the
AUX input mode, CD mode and CD
changer mode (if fitted).

Playing a CD

Loading a disc into the CD aperture
will automatically start CD playback
and enter the CD screen. If another
source is playing and a CD is already
loaded, pressing the CD/AUX button
will resume CD playback.

Track seek

To advance a track press the SEEK
up button.
