Comparing Control Solution Results

You should get results within the expected range printed
on the test strip vial. If this is not so, repeat the test.
If the results are out of the range printed on the control
solution vial, check the following:
Was the vial at room temperature?
Did you shake the vial vigorously before using?
Did you discard the first drop of control solution and
wipe the dispenser tip clean?
Was the meter coded properly?
Has the control solution or test strip expired?
Is the meter malfunctioning?
Caution
If you continue to get control solution test results that
are not in the expected range printed on the test strip
vial, the system may not be working properly. DO
NOT USE the system to test your blood.
