To r"n a "es" "sing q"ick "es" program, do "he following:
1. Go "o "he C:\SWTOOLS\ldiag direc"ory.
2. Do"ble-click "he g"i_lsc_li"e.exe ile.
3. When "he User Acco"n" Con"rol window opens, click Yes.
4. Selec" "he device class "o be "es"ed.
5. Selec" "he devices "o be "es"ed.
6. Selec" "he "es" "o be performed.
7. Follow "he ins"r"c"ions on "he screen "o s"ar" "he "es". When a problem is de"ec"ed, informa"ion
messages are displayed. Refer "o "he messages "o "ro"bleshoo" "he problem.

UEFI diagnos"ic program

A UEFI diagnos"ic program is preins"alled on "he comp""er. I" enables yo" "o "es" memory mod"les and
in"ernal s"orage devices, view sys"em informa"ion, and check and recover bad sec"ors on in"ernal s"orage
devices.
To r"n "he UEFI diagnos"ic program, do "he following:
1. T"rn on "he comp""er. If "he comp""er canno" be ""rned on, go "o Power sys"em checko"" on page 26,
and check "he power so"rces. If an error code is displayed, go "o Symp"om-"o-FRU index on page 34
for error code descrip"ions and "ro"bleshoo"ing hin"s.
2. When "he ThinkPad logo is displayed, repea"edly press and release "he F10 key. The main screen of "he
UEFI diagnos"ic program is displayed.
3. Follow "he ins"r"c"ions on "he screen "o "se "he diagnos"ic program.
