when ship out set SW to 1 position.
3.Gripe the lead wire of E head ( :surface of the wire cover.)
*Operate
the Mechanism with the normal speed.
Tape Speed Adjustment
Begin from the high speed in Motor speed adjustment.
1)
Set the
testtape.TCW-211
(or equivalent)
to R/P mechanism(/TAPE
B).
Adjustment
should
be made
at the center
portion
(FWD
Play)
on the tape.
2) Play the mechanism
in FWD Play.
3) Short the high speed test
pinto
the
high speed portion. (by the clip.)
4) Confirm sothat a frequency counter reading of high speed become 3000Hz f 10% at the center position
in Deck 2.
5)
After
the
high speed adjustment,open the high speed test pin.
6) Stop the mechanism drive.
7) Set the test tape. MTT-l 11(or equivalent) to P mechanism(TAPE A)
Adjustment should be made at the center portion (FWD Play) on the tape.
8) Playthe Mechanism(FWD Play).
9) Adjust SVR51sothat a frequency counter reading become less301OHZ* 10HZ in Deck 1 near the FWD Play
tape center.
10) Confirm sothat a frequency counter reading of the speed difference between TAPE A and TAPE B become
"(TAPE A) - (TAPE B) = + 50--
50Hz" .
12) Stop the mechanism drive.
Note: Prior the mesurements,clean
the head,capstan
and pinch roller.
