SUGGESTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

TO PREVENT INTERFERENCES:
• Keep transmitters at least 5-6 metres from each active receiver.
• Receiver antennas should not be too close to each other.
• Make sure that the transmitter batteries are fully charged and efficient.
• Optimise the receiver squelch level.
• When it is not possible to avoid interferences, it is necessary to change the
operating frequency of the radiomicrophone that has this problem.
PROBLEMS WITH THE SIMULTANEOUS USE OF SEVERAL
RADIOMICROPHONES:
• Absolutely prevent two (or more) transmitters from being tuned to the
same frequency.
• As a general rule, a difference of 200 kHz should be maintained between
the channels being used (in the event that non-RCF radio transmitting
devices are also present); where possible, the recommended difference
is at least 1 MHz.
DETERMINE THE ORIGIN OF INTERFERENCES:
• Make sure that the radiomicrophone is actually the cause, i.e.by switching
off the receiver and momentarily disconnecting the connection cables
(to see if the problem persists).
• Switch off all transmitters and check that all receivers go to "mute"
status: this may allow you to find out about possible external interfering
sources.
• Switch on one transmitter at a time, moving around in the space to find the
worseconditionandidentifythereceiverthatcomesoutof"mute"condition.
If one receiver not tuned to the frequency of the transmitter being used
comes out of"mute"status, there is a problem of intermodulation and it is
therefore necessary to change the frequency.
USAGE LICENCES
RCF radiomicrophones fully comply with all the regulations currently in
force.In certain countries,however,the use of radiofrequency systems must
be approved by the local authorities and it may be necessary to request a
licence for legal use.
Also make sure that the frequency of the system you have purchased
is useable. Your local distributor can provide you all the necessary
information.

The frequency list label is on both transmitters and receivers.
