5.4
Seat console
The engine, air filter, radiator, hydraulic
system and other components are loca-
ted under the seat console. The seat
console can be pivoted up for cleaning
and maintenance purposes.
Allow the engine to cool down
before starting any cleaning
and maintenance work. Other-
wise you could burn yourself
on hot surfaces!
5.4.1 Opening the seat console
If the weatherproof roof option is in-
stalled, the seat console is equipped
with a lock.
1. Park the vehicle on a level surface
with the engine at operating tempe-
rature. Turn the engine off and allow
to cool down. Apply the parking bra-
ke.
2. Open the side panel (Fig. 22/1) using
a square wrench.
3. Unlock the lock (Fig. 22/2). Pivot the
seat console up.
After the seat console has
been pivoted back down, it
must be locked again.
