Transfer files between computer & SD card
To transfer files and pictures between the computer and SD card, follow these steps:
1.
Connect the device to a computer using the USB cable.
2.
From the Home screen, touch the Notification bar and slide down.
3.
Tap Touch for other USB options.
4.
Tap Media device (MTP).
5.
On a PC computer when the AutoPlay window appears, click Open device to view files using Windows Explorer.
Note: If the window does not appear automatically, check that the USB cable is completely plugged in, or try another USB port.
6.
Click OK.
7.
In the Windows Explorer window that opens, double-click the SD card folder.
8.
Copy the files and pictures from your computer to the SD card folder on your device.
9.
When finished transferring files, on the phone tap USB storage device.
10. On the computer, click the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the system tray.
11. Click Eject.
12. Disconnect the device from the computer.
Transfer files between internal storage & SD card
To transfer files and pictures between the internal storage and SD card, follow these steps:
1.
From any Home screen, tap the Applications icon.
2.
Tap File Manager.
3.
If necessary, tap the Internal tab.
4.
Navigate to the file you want to transfer.
5.
Tap the Copy icon in the lower right hand corner of the screen.
6.
Select the file(s) to transfer, then tap Copy.
7.
Tap the SD card tab.
8.
If necessary, navigate to the folder you want to paste the file(s) to.
9.
Tap Paste.
View free SD card space
To view the amount of free SD card storage, follow these steps:
1.
From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
2.
Tap System settings.
3.
If necessary, tap the All tab.
4.
Scroll to 'DEVICE,' and then tap Storage.
5.
Scroll to 'SD card' and view the 'Available' information.
PIN & Password

Device lock

Change device lock password/PIN

To change the device lock password or PIN, follow these steps:
1.
From the Home screen, tap the Menu key.
2.
Tap System settings.
3.
If necessary, tap the All tab.
4.
Scroll to 'PERSONAL,' and then tap Security.
5.
Tap Screen lock.
6.
Select the security setting that is currently in use.
7.
Follow the on-screen prompts to edit up your PIN, password, or pattern.
