Setting  your  SIM  card  PIN  
A  personal  identification  number  (PIN)  is  delivered  with  your  SIM  card  to  protect  your  
phone  data.  If  you  enable  the  SIM  card  lock,  you  must  enter  the  PIN  each  time  you  turn  
your  phone  on.    
Before  you  perform  the  following  operations,  make  sure  you  have  obtained  the  PIN  for  
your  SIM  card  from  your  network  operator.    
O n  the  home  screen,  touch  
1.  
U nder  All,  touch  Security.    
2.  
T ouch  Set  up  SIM  card  lock.  
3.  
T ouch  Lock  SIM  card.  If  your  phone  features  dual  SIM  support,  you  can  set  individual

PINs  for  each  card.  
E nter  your  PIN  and  touch  OK.  
5.  
T ouch  Change  SIM  PIN  to  change  the  PIN.

Generally,  SIM  cards  only  allow  a  limited  number  of  consecutive  attempts  if  an  
 
incorrect  PIN  is  entered.  If  this  limit  is  exceeded,  you  must  enter  a  PIN  unblocking  
key  (PUK),  which  you  can  obtain  from  your  network  operator.  The  number  of  
consecutive  PUK  code  attempts  is  also  limited.  If  this  limit  is  exceeded,  your  SIM  
card  will  be  permanently  disabled.  For  details  about  these  limits,  contact  your  
network  operator.    
Setting  up  an  account

O n  the  home  screen,  touch

U nder  All,  touch  Accounts.

T ouch  Add  account,Select  an  account  type.

F ollow  the  onscreen  prompts  and  enter  your  account  information.
