Status lights
To understand what the status light indicators and charging lights mean, refer to the following:
Solid green: Device is charging and has 90-100% battery life.
Blinking green: Notifications are available and the device has 10-100% battery life.
Solid orange: Device is charging and has 10-90% battery life.
Solid red: Device is charging and has less than 10% battery life.
Blinking red: Device is not charging and has less than 10% battery life.

Backlight
Brightness
To make the screen backlight brighter or darker, follow these steps:
1.
From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
2.
Tap System settings.
3.
If necessary, tap the General tab.
4.
Tap Brightness.
5.
If necessary, clear the Automatic brightness check box.
6.
Touch the Brightness slider and slide left or right to adjust.
7.
Tap OK.
Timeout
To change the time before the backlight times out, follow these steps:
1.
From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
2.
Tap System settings.
3.
If necessary, tap the All tab.
4.
Scroll to 'DEVICE,' and then tap Display.
