Example 3 - Using the C Format Control Character
While Punching
In this example, the format control program selected is as
follows:
Indicates card read/punch programs
Load 8 characters in to the output buffer
Read or punch a card
Skip 9 input characters (from position one)
Load 8 characters in to the output buffer
Read or punch a card
Skip 18 input characters (from position one)
Load 8 characters in to the output buffer
Read or punch a card and terminate the format
