Removing the cello from the harness
To remove the cello from the harness, simply undo both locknuts on the socket arm just enough to allow the
mounting balls to slide out, and pull the cello away.
Caution: Always hold your cello with one hand while the socket arm locknuts are loose. Failing to do
so may result in dropping the cello and possibly damaging it. Further undoing of the locknuts will make the
socket arms come apart.

Removing the cello together with the harness

The harness can be removed from your body with the cello attached simply by undoing the waste belt buckle.
This is appropriate if you wish to take a short break, as long as you make sure to keep the cello (now attached
to the harness) stable and in a safe place.
If you find out that you need the tail end of the cello to be positioned higher, undo the lower socket arm and
exchange it with a longer socket arm (sold separately). A longer socket arm will raise the tail end of the cello
about three additional inches (7.5 cm)
Storing the cello while attached to the harness is not recommended
