Mounting the cello to the harness

 Wear the harness, wrap the belt around your waste, and snap the buckle in place.
 Adjust the belt tension to prevent any unwanted movement of the harness.
 Elevate the socket arms from the harness so they project forward, and away from your body
.

 Hold the cello with one hand and align it in front of the lower socket arm
(Fig. 6b).
 Fit the lower mounting ball into the lower socket arm and lock the socket arm locknut
(Fig. 6c).
 Fit the upper mounting ball into the upper socket arm and lock the socket arm locknut
(Fig. 6d).
