7. AUDIO CONNECTIONS

Switch off the PAM-70 PA system and the units to be connected before making or changing the
connections.

7.1 Inputs

Microphones, music instruments and audio units with line level (e.g. CD player, portable MP3 player, PC)
may be connected as audio sources.
• Input [MIC 1]: Connects a balanced or unbalanced microphone with XLR or 6.3 mm jack plug.
The XLR jack is equipped with a lock which is released by pressing the PUSH lever down and pulling the
microphone plug out at the same time.
• Input [INSTRUMENT/MIC 2]: Connects unbalanced music instruments or microphones with 6.3 mm jack
plug.
• Input [AUX]: Connects an audio unit with line level via an RCA cable.

7.2 Outputs

The outputs [LINK] allows connection of a subsequent audio unit with line level input (e.g. mixer, another PA
system, active speaker system, recording unit) via a balanced 6.3 mm jack plug. Here, the mixed signal of
the signal sources is available, not affected by the adjustment of the master control [MASTER VOLUME].
