7.3 Synchronizing with a server

You can use the New Partnership wizard when you are first
setting up a partnership with a desktop computer to syn-
chronize with an Exchange server. In the New Partnership
wizard, select Synchronize with Microsoft Mobile Infor-
mation Server and/or this desktop computer, instead of
Synchronize with this desktop computer.
If at some later time you want to synchronize with a server
when the device is connected to the desktop computer,
you must then configure ActiveSync on the desktop
computer as described in "Synchronize with a server" in
ActiveSync Help on the desktop computer.

To adjust the settings for a particular type of information,
click on the type and then select Settings. For example,
you may select which folders in Inbox to synchronize.
