SYMPTOM
PROBLEM

NOTE: Ignition sequence will start approximately 4 seconds after the transmitter
ON/OFF button is pushed. First try the ignition board will spark for 60 seconds if there
is no flame rectification the board will stop sparking for approximately 35 seconds.
Pilot sparks but
Gas supply.
will not light.
Module is not grounded.
Out of propane gas.
TEST SOLUTION
- Verify the wire for the sensor and the wire for the ignitor
are connected to the correct terminals (not reverse) on
the module and pilot assembly.
- Verify no loose connections, electrical shorts in the
wiring or ground out to any metal object.
- Spark gap of the ignitor to the pilot should be .125"
(1/8").
- Remove and reinstall the wiring harness that plugs into
the module.
- Remove and verify continuity of each wire in the wiring
harness.
- Verify the valve and pilot assemblies are properly
grounded to the metal chassis of the fireplace.
- To reset ignition box when locked out turn the system off
by pressing the ON/OFF button on the transmitter, turning
the system off. After a few seconds, press the ON/OFF
button on the transmitter again. The ignition board will
reset and start ignition sequence.
- Verify that the incoming gas line ball valve is "Open".
Verify that the inlet pressure reading is within acceptable
limits, inlet pressures must not exceed 14" W.C.
- Verify the value and pilot assemblies are properly
grounded to the metal chassis of the fireplace.
- Fill the tank.
