Connecting to a Computer

You can use your computer to access the internal flash
memory of your navigation device in order to upgrade the
maps or to store music, video and picture files on it.
To do so, your computer must run under Windows
®
or Windows Vista and have a free USB port (USB 1.1 or
USB 2.0).
As soon as a connection to the computer is

established, the button operation on the device will
be locked.

Plug the Mini-USB connector of the USB cable
[page 61, item 5] into the receptacle [page 69, item
9] of your navigation device.
Next, plug the other connector of the USB cable into
a free USB port on your powered-on computer.
After a few seconds, on the navigation device
display this icon will appear:
