Door mirrors
The controls for adjusting the two door mirrors
are at the front of the driver's door armrest. The
rearview mirrors can be operated in ignition
position I and II.
1. Press the L button for the left-hand door
mirror or the R button for the right-hand
door mirror. The light on the button illumi-
nates.
2. Adjust the position with the joystick in the
centre.
3. Press the L or R button again. The light
goes out.
Retractable power door mirrors*
The mirrors can be retracted for parking/driving
in narrow spaces. This can be carried out in
ignition position I and II.
Retracting the mirrors
1. Press the L and R button at the same time.
2. Release the buttons. The mirrors automat-
ically stop in the fully retracted position.
WARNING
Both door mirrors are the wide angled type
to provide optimal vision. Objects may
appear further away than they actually are.
Folding out the mirrors
1. Press the L and R button at the same time.
2. Release the buttons. The mirrors automat-
ically stop in the fully extended position.
Automatic retracting/extending
When the car is locked/unlocked with the
remote control or using the Keyless-system,
see page 126, the door mirrors are automati-
cally retracted/extended.

NOTE
The door mirrors will not be extended auto-
matically during unlocking if they were
retracted using the controls in the door.
If the car is locked with the remote control
and is then started, the door mirrors will still
be extended.
The function can be activated/deactivated
under
Car settings...
locking, see page 78 for a description of the
menu system.
Resetting to neutral
Mirrors that have been moved out of position
by an external force must be reset to the neutral
position for electric retracting and extending to
work.
1. Use the L and R buttons to retract the mir-
rors.
2. Extend the mirrors again with the L and R
button. The mirrors are now reset to the
neutral.
Home safe and approach lighting
The light* on the door mirrors illuminates when
the approach lighting or home safe lighting is
activated.
