Electrical connection
The electrical equippment for the dryers
PT 7251, 7331, 7401, 7501 and 7801
meets the standards UL 2158 and
UL 1240.
The electrical connections to the dryer
must be in accordance with all local
codes and ordinances.
^ Follow the instructions given on the
enclosed wiring diagram (located at the
terminal block).
^ Before installation, make sure that the
voltage and frequency listed on the data
plate correspond with the site's electrical
supply.
The electrical heating is set by default to:
PT 7251 13.5 kW
PT 7331 18 kW
PT 7401 22.5 kW
PT 7501 27 kW
PT 7801 36 kW
Installation Instructions
Venting
^ Only operate the dryer if it is connected to
proper venting ductwork and there is
sufficient air ventilation. For more
information see the installation diagram
and installation manual that come with the
machine.
Steam connection
^ The steam connection must only be made
by a certified installer. For more
information see the enclosed installation
diagram and the installation manual.
Gas connection
^ The gas connection to the dryer must be
made by a certified installer in accordance
with local and national regulations. For
more information see the enclosed
installation diagram and the installation
manual.

Connect the wires in accordance with
their labeling.
The gas heating is factory set in accordance
with the gas technical information on the
machine (see sticker on the back of the
machine).
A conversion to another type of gas must
only be performed by a certified installer. A
conversion kit can be purchased from Miele.
Please state the machine type, machine
number, gas type, gas group, gas pressure
and location.

Do not attempt to repair a gas heated
machine yourself. Repairs and
maintenance must be carried out only by
an authorized Miele technician. Call
Technical Service.

Once installed in position all
detachable outer casing parts must be
refitted.
