Holding the camera correctly
To give the camera steady three-point support,
hold the camera with the right hand, the index
finger resting on the release button and the
thumb inserted behind the hinged-out quick-wind
lever, while the left hand supports the lens from
below.
For upright (portrait) exposures, simply turn the
camera through 90°, with your hands in the same
position as before, ready to transport the film and
focus the lens.
