Overcasting with Zigzag Stitch

Machine settings

w Presser foot:
e Thread tension:
Place the fabric edge next to the right side of the
clear window of the foot and carefully guide the fabric
so the needle falls off the edge when it swings to the
right.

Multiple Zigzag Stitch (Tricot Stitch)

Machine settings

w Presser foot:
e Thread tension:
This stitch is used to finish a raw edge of synthetics
and other stretch fabrics that tend to pucker.
Sew along the fabric edge leaving an adequate seam
allowance.
After sewing, trim the seam allowance close to the
stitches.
