Probable cause
Lens cover closed
Batteries dead or
improperly loaded
in camera
Flash not ready
Film not properly
loaded in camera
Film needs to be
rewound/removed
Solution
Open lens cover
completely
Replace batteries
and insert as shown
on battery door
Wait for flash-ready
light to glow
Reload the film. See
