The device will then be added to the list of support devices.
Your Windows XP machine can now stream media to LinkTheater.
Press on the 'Sharing' tab to the left
Press the 'Add' button to specify a folder to share to LinkTheater.
Browse to a folder that contains data you would like to share
with LinkTheater by pressing the 'Browse' button. Give it a name
that you would recognize and select the privacy settings that
apply to your environment (the default values are acceptable in
most cases). Press the 'OK' button when finished. Press 'Yes' if
any dialog boxes appear.
Add as many folders as you would like to share with
your LinkTheater. Repeat the previous step as many
times as necessary.
Press on the 'Settings' tab to the left
It is recommended to check the check box 'Automatically start
folder sharing when Windows starts.' This check box instructs
Windows Media Connect to run every time Windows is started.
If you prefer to launch it manually, then leave the box
unchecked, but if you want to use Windows Media Connect on
LinkTheater you will have to remember to manually launch it via
the Control Panel. Press the 'Close' button once you are finished.
Congratulations, Windows Media Connect is setup and running
on your Windows XP PC.
