Checking Camera Status

In Capture mode, press Select at any time to check which camera settings are
active.
1 Slide the Mode selector to Capture

Press Select.
The current camera status icons are displayed on the LCD. If an icon is
not displayed, that camera feature is not currently activated.

Status Bar Icons

Auto
Fill
Red-eye
Off
Flash
Full battery
Chapter 1
Best
Good
Quality
Low battery
and turn the camera on.
Pictures remaining Date stamp
Exhausted battery (blinking)
