Installng the RAID Drver (for bootable RAID Array)
1. After you complete the RAID BIOS setup, boot from the Wndows CD, and the Wn-
dows Setup program starts.
2. Press F6 and wat for the Wndows Setup screen to appear.
3. Insert the floppy that contans the RAID drver, press the "S" key to select "Specfy
Addtonal Devce".
Note: for Wndows Vsta/ Wndows 7, you can copy the files to a medum (floppy/
CD/ DVD or USB)
Important
Please follow the nstructon below to make a SATA RAID drver for yourself.
Insert the MSI DVD nto the DVD-ROM drve.

Clck the "Browse CD" on the Setup screen.

• Copy all the contents n the : \\ChpSet\AMD\Packages\Drvers\SBDrv\SB9xx\RAID\
(and then, please select a folder whch was classfied accordng to OS.)
• The drver dsk for RAID controller s done.
4. When prompted, nsert the medum dsk and press Enter.
For Wndows Vsta/ Wndows 7:
Durng the Operatng system nstallaton, after selectng the locaton to nstall Vsta/
Wndows 7 clck on "Load Drver" button to load RAID drve.
5. You should be shown a lst of avalable RAID controller(s).
6. Select the compatble RAID controller for 32-bt/ 64-bt verson system and then
press ENTER.

the files from the medum agan after the RAID volume s formatted, and Wndows
setup starts copyng files.
