1. PREPARE THE INSTALLATION WARNING When performing installation, servicing or cleaning the unit, it is recommended to wear safety glasses and gloves. Make sure that the following items are included: - Power Pack - Accessories: • 1 Filter • 3¼” x 10” adapter and damper •... -

Failure to do so may cause personal injury or damage to countertop or cooktop. TOP VIEW The custom hood must be constructed to fit the shape and total weight of the BC2130SS or BC4130SS power pack models. See chart and illustration for details. OWER OTAL 5/16”... - Page 6 6. REMOVE THE ADAPTER/DAMPER Using a Phillips no. 2 screwdriver, remove both screws retaining the adapter/damper (A) to the power pack inner panel. Set aside the adapter/damper. NOTE: Though picture beside shows a double blower model, this applies also for single blower model.

10. REMOVE THE ELECTRICAL KNOCK-OUT INGLE LOWER INGLE LOWER LOWER Punch out the electrical knockout hole on back (A) OR on top (B), right side of the power pack. Install the wire clamp (included in parts bag). LOWER Punch out the electrical knockout hole on top (B) OR in front (C) of the power pack. -

13. CONNECT WIRING WARNING Risk of electrical shock. Electrical wiring must be done by qualified personnel in accordance with all applicable codes and standards. Before connecting wires, switch power off at service panel and lock service disconnecting means to prevent power from being switched on accidentally. Position the power pack below the installed custom hood. - Page 9 15. INSTALL THE ADAPTER/DAMPER ON BACK OF POWER PACK (HORIZONTAL DISCHARGE INSTALLATION ONLY) From the outside of the wall, using two (2) no. 8 x 3/8’’ screws provided in parts bag, secure the adapter/damper to the back of the power pack. Remove tape from damper flap.

18. REINSTALL FILTER CAUTION Remove protective plastic film covering filter before installing it. Rest rear filter edge on filter springs (A) in the power pack. Using the finger cup, tilt up the filter into position. Make sure filter tabs (B) are securely engaged in power pack front edge after installation. -
