- Page 6 CHARGING OPERATION 9V BATTERIES: Insert 1 to 4 9V Ni-MH batteries into battery slots, oriented according to the polarity symbols (+ or -) that are marked on the battery. Connect the supplied AC adapter's barrel plug into the charger's rear power input jack.
