EAP Topology

A typical network topology for the EAP is shown below.

The EAP120 and EAP220 provide two management modes: Cluster and Standalone.
By default, the management mode is Cluster. In this mode, all EAPs in the same
LAN (Local Area Network) form a cluster, and a Master EAP will be selected to
manage other Member EAPs.
To deploy an EAP in your local network, a DHCP server is required to assign IP
address to the EAP. Typically, a router acts as the DHCP server.
The EAP can be powered directly by a Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch through
the Ethernet port, or the provided power adapter.
