• Check p ower c able i s p lugged i n f irmly a t t he b ack o f t he m odem, a t t he e xternal P SU ( power
source u nit) a nd d irectly a t t he w all s ocket.

• Switch o ff t he s atellite m odem f or 1 5 m inutes t hen s witch b ack o n, w aiting f or 5 m inutes
before c hecking t he L ED s tatus a nd t esting t he c onnection.
3.3 L AN l ight o ff
• Check c abling b etween M odem a nd P C / L aptop / R outer t o c onfirm t hat t hey a re c onnected
correctly
• Replace E thernet c able b etween t he s atellite m odem a nd P C / L aptop / R outer
• If u sing a R outer / F irewall, t ry a d irect c onnection b y d isconnecting t he E thernet c able
supplied f rom t he b ack o f t he E thernet R outer a nd c onnect t o t he n etwork p ort o n y our P C /
Laptop ( As p er a bove i nstructions, r emember t o s witch t he s atellite m odem o ff a nd o n a fter
changing d evice)
• If u sing a d irect c onnection f rom t he s atellite m odem t o t he P C / L aptop:
o Please e nsure t hat t he " Local A rea C onnection " L AN a dapter o n y our P C / L aptop i s
enabled
o Ensure t hat t he c omputer i s s et u p f or D HCP
o Make s ure y ou h ave r eceived t he c orrect I P a ddress f rom t he T ooway m odem;
normally i t w ould e ither b e " 192.168.100.3" o r " 192.168.100.4" i f t he m odem i s n ot
connected t o t he T ooway S ervice ( If a ll t he l ights o n t he m odem a re n ot l it). I f y ou a re
connected t o t he T ooway s ervice, a ll t he l ights o n t he m odem w ould b e l it, a nd y ou
would r eceive a n I P a ddress t hat w ould e ither s tart w ith " 5.x.x.x" o r " 10.x.x.x"
