WINDING MECHANISM
The Diplomatic is fitted with Hour, Minute, Sweeping Second, Quick Change Day
& Date. Its screw-crown has four operating positions:
1 NORMAL POSITION (all the way, screwed in):
This is the screwed down and secure position that the Diplomatic should be
in at all times it is being worn.
2 MANUAL WINDING POSITION
This is the unscrewed position where you can wind your movement to power it up.
Wind completely and the Diplomatic can keep accurate time for up to 38hrs.
3 DATE SET POSITION (pulled out to the 3rd position):
This is the position where you can set the date. Turn the crown away from
you for date.
4 TIME SET POSITION
(pulled out further to the 4th position):
This is the position that stops the second hand and where you can set the
time down to the nearest minute.
