The keychain transmitters included with the system have been pre-
programmed at the factory, with each button pre-assigned to control a specific
function of the system.
The system will store codes from up to 4 different transmitters. If a 5
transmitter is programmed to the system, then the first transmitter
programmed to the system will be erased from the system's memory.
To program new or additional transmitters:
1. Enter the vehicle, and turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
2. Press and release the programming button switch 3 times.
3. The dash mounted LED will flash 1 time, and the horn/siren will sound 1
time, indicating that the system is ready to accept programming of channel 1
which is arm/lock.
4. Press and hold the lock icon button of the transmitter you wish to program
for 4 seconds or until a long chirp is heard from the horn/siren.
4a. Repeat step 4 for any additional transmitter you wish to program.
5. Press and release the programming button switch 1 time to advance to
channel 2. The dash mounted LED will flash 2 times and the orn/siren will
sound 2 times, indicating that the system is ready to accept programming for
channel 2 which is disarm/unlock.
6. Press and hold the unlock icon button of the transmitter you wish to
program for 4 seconds or until a long chirp is heard from the horn/siren.
6a. Repeat step 6 for any additional transmitter you wish to program.
7. Press and release the programming button switch 1 time to advance to
channel 3. The dash mounted LED will flash 3 times and the horn/siren will
sound 3 times, indicating that the system is ready to accept programming for
channel 3 which is trunk release/remote start.
8. Press and hold the trunk/key icon button of the transmitter you wish to
program for 4 seconds or until a long flash from the parking lights.
8a. Repeat step 8 for any additional transmitter you wish to program.
9. Press and release the programming button switch 1 time to advance to
channel 3. The dash mounted LED will flash 4 times and the horn/siren will
sound 4 times, indicating that the system is ready to accept programming for
channel 4 which is an optional device.
10. Press and hold the option button of the transmitter you wish to program
for 4 seconds or until a long flash from the parking lights.
10a. Repeat step 10 for any additional transmitter you wish to
program.
