2. Safety Precautions

These safety precautions must be observed minutely! If the system is inappropriately
operated it may cause material damage which could result in possible injury!
Read the operating instructions and all safety precautions carefully before first set-up.
Keep the operating instructions for later reference.
Before operating the system, make sure that the operating voltage of the system corresponds
with the local power supply. (Check type label!)
Opening or exchange of electrical components may only be carried out by qualified technical
personnel or the manufacturer.
In case of malfunctions like, e.g., smoke, smell or unusual noises, switch off all system
components and disconnect all power connections.
The maximum operating duration of the lifting column engines as stated on the type label must
never be exceeded.
Any overall changes, control changes, changes of control elements or the position switches etc.
are prohibited.
The ScreenLifter may not be operated in a potentially explosive atmosphere.
Do not set up to the ScreenLifter outdoors. The ScreenLifter may be operated in dry rooms
only.
ScreenLifter and display combined weigh approx. 600 kg. When setting up the device, consider
the load-carrying capacity and condition of the surface in particular of stages and other mobile
constructions.
Place the ScreenLifter only on even and horizontal surfaces, since it could otherwise
overbalance when lifting or lowering the heavy display.
Also make sure that no hard objects such as screws, waste or similar objects lie on the surface
when setting up the display, since this could impair stability.
