4.2 Loading and Unloading the ScreenLifter

4.2.1 Lifting ScreenLifter Out of Its Case

If you purchased the ScreenLifter together with its case you need to unload the ScreenLifter from the
transportation case first. Since the lifting columns fulfill a dual function, you do not need anything except
a cold equipment cable and a power socket. In as-delivered condition the two transportation pins (POS 8),
which are necessary for lifting and lowering the cap are installed.
First remove the hood parts and put the roll board in the position where you want the
ScreenLifter to be located later.
Caution!
Before you connect the ScreenLifter to the power supply, check whether the
operating voltage of the control (type label) corresponds with the local power supply.
Connect the ScreenLifter to the power supply over the main connection (POS 11) in the cap
and put the switch (POS12) in the "ON" position.
To lift the cap off the roll board, press and hold the LIFT control key until the stored final
position is reached and the value 24 (±1) is displayed.
Pull the roll board out from under the cap.
To position the cap on the surface, press and hold the key O on the control until the stored
position is reached and the ScreenLifter stands on the ground. The value 45(±1) is displayed..
Caution!
When lowering the cap to the ground there is immediate danger of squeezing. Never
position fingers or other body parts between the cap and the ground.
Caution!
Remove the transportation pins after unloading the cap before you install or lift the
display.
Screw on caps (replace with removed transportation pins)
