    SAFETY PRECAUTION • This grill is designed for outdoor use only. THIS APPLIANCE SHALL NOT BE INSTALLED OR USED INDOORS. • The area surrounding your new grill should be kept clean, and free from flammable liquids and other combustible materials such as mops, rags, brooms, as well as solvents, cleaning fluids, and gasoline.

    All gas fitting work, service and repairs (including works on any part of part of the gas circuit) can only be performed by an authorized gas fitter in accordance with national regulations. All replacement parts must meet Sunshine specification. GAS TYPES The barbecues are both category 13+(28-30/37) and I3B/P(30) appliances.

  • Page 10 Assemble Your Barbecue Body And Trolley 1. Remove the fat tray from the barbecue body. Place fat tray to one side until the barbecue is placed into the trolley. 2. Remove and place to one side the hot plate, grill plate and flame tamer. 3.
  • Page 11 Hood And Body Assembly 4. Position the hood base (1) towards the top rear of barbecue and secure using two M5 x 12 mounting screws (5) as illustrated in Fig 2. 5. Re-secure the Side Heat Shield and the front bracket of the Hood Base using the previously removed Heat Shield mounting screw (A).

    FOR L.P.G. CYLINDER CONNECTION 1. To achieve the optimum performance from your Sunshine Barbecue, an approved gas cylinder (POL fitting) of at least 4.0kg capacity must be used. 2. Do not connect gas to a barbecue that is not secured in a trolley, or built into brickwork.

    GAS TYPE AND CONSUMPTION The barbecues are designed to operate on LP and NG Gas (gas type must be specified at time of purchase). Gas consumption, Pressure and Injector Orifice size are shown on the Data Plate found on the left-hand side of the barbecue. GAS COCK KNOBS The gas cock knob locks in both the Off and High positions.

    COOKING A fairly protected location is desirable for pleasant and efficient cooking. Strong winds will drastically reduce cooking efficiency. Allow 10 minutes for burner to heat cooking area. A little cooking fat (or olive oil) on the grill will prevent sticking. Cooking time for normal thickness steaks on the char grill is approximately 15 minutes.

    TROUBLESHOOTING Burner will not ignite when using the igniter: Cylinder valve is not on Turn cylinder valve on (page 10) Cylinder is empty Replace with a full cylinder (page 10) Igniter is not sparking Remove plate and visually check ignition box for a spark. If there is no spark contact authorized service agent.
