Step 10 Position BBQ body into cabinet ensuring that it fits securely onto locating brackets. Ensure that gas hose runs through to the side burner without any kinks. Attach side burner assembly to L/H frame assembly, slide side burner assembly onto front/rear legs of the L/H frame with a gentle downward pressure.

CONNECTING THE GAS SUPPLY TIGHTEN SLACKEN • Attach the hose to the manifold inlet nipple and tighten onto the manifold. Ensure that all connecting threads and surfaces are undamaged, clean and free from oil and dirt. When fitting the hose ensure that it is free from torsional (twisting) stress, kinks or sharp bends.
• LIGHTING THE BARBECUE • Ensure the barbecue has been set up correctly. • Check for signs of blockage, hose deterioration and gas leaks. • Open the cooking hood. • Before each use, line fat tray with clean aluminium foil. Ensure all corners are covered to eliminate fat leakage.
• COOKING • A fairly protected location is desirable for pleasant and efficient cooking. Strong winds will drastically reduce cooking efficiency. Allow 10 minutes for burners to heat cooking area. A little cooking fat (or olive oil) on the griddle will prevent sticking.
