The Light For Life™ charging unit is a sophisticated power management
device. When actively charging the flashlight, there are periods of
moderate current consumption throughout the 90 sec recharge cycle.
In order to ensure reliable operation, all of the connections from the
charger to the vehicle's 12 volt power source must be solid, secure, and
perform with very low resistance.
Any modification to the charger's power cord or cigarette plug connector
should be proposed by an engineer well versed in automotive power
distribution systems and their effect on peripheral equipment.
