Troubleshooting

If your JBL Authentics L8 system is not performing the way you think it should, check if the problem is covered in this section
before calling your dealer or contacting a JBL representative.
Problem
My JBL Authentics L8 does not turn ON
No sound from any speaker
Amplifier turns ON, but no audio from one or more
channels

Solutions
Make certain the AC power cord is plugged into a live
outlet.
Check to see whether the outlet is switch-controlled.
Contact your local JBL service center.
Check input connections.
Check the settings on your preamp, processor or
controller.
