Select the preferred audio language for Digital Terrestrial Tuner
(DTT) reception, DVDs with multiple sound tracks, VCDs with
multiple audio channels, or DVD±R/±RW recorded with 5.1
multi-channel.
Select the preferred subtitle language for DVD playback and
Digital Terrestrial Tuner (DTT) reception.
Digital Terrestrial Tuner (DTT) reception may carry multiple
subtitle types. Select the subtitle type you want to be shown.
{ Off }
– No subtitle displays on the screen.
{ Normal }
– Display normal subtitles.
{ Hard of hearing } – Display special subtitles. For example,
descriptions for sound and action.
Select the recording language to be used for TV programmes
(analogue TV channels only) which are transmitted an additional
audio language. For example, if a programme is available in
English and Spanish, with Spanish being the additional language
option.
{ Lang. I }
– Original broadcast language.
{ Lang. II }
– Additional audio language.
Select the menu language for this unit's on-screen display. This
setting will be taken from the initial installation.
Notes:
– If the selected audio/subtitle language is not available on the
disc, the disc's default language will be used instead.
– For some DVDs, the subtitle/audio language can only be
changed via the DVD disc menu.
