Entrance Panel Controls
After entering the flat number press this button to call the flat.
If a mistake is made entering the flat number, use this button to clear the
display.
This button rings reception with a single press (optional)
Used for residents to gain access or deliveries during set times, a 4 digit
code maybe required (optional)

Each press causes the displayed letter to increment by 1 in the range A
down to Z

Each press causes the displayed letter to decrement by 1 in the range Z

Residential entry
Call sequence
The caller firstly approaches the entrance panel and enters the required flat number
followed by the
button. This causes the phone to ring in the selected flat. The
phone will continue to ring for typically 30 seconds if not answered or until the
resident responds by picking up the handset. The call may be terminated by
replacing the handset or more usually by pressing the
visitor access through the entrance.
Ringer Mute (optional, BS-LX phone only)
The phone ringer can be muted when you do not wish to be disturbed. Caller mute is
activated by pressing the
button on the phone, which then illuminates in red as a
reminder. Pressing the
button a second time will disengage the mute function.
The Mute button can be used to turn the ring on or off, or off for a timed period
depending on installation settings.
Door Status Indication (optional, BS-LX phone only)
The green
lamp on the phone will illuminate to warn that a door has been left
open.
Coded Entry (optional)
Press the
button, the word 'CODE' will be displayed, enter the assigned 4 digit
code, the display will change to 'OPEN' and the door is now unlocked.
