Do not attempt to terminate, change, or un-install any wiring without first the model number and calling your On-Q installer or On-Q Technical Support. If you are not using a 12V power supply that supplies enough current to the system, turning off power at the Intercom Module which is located in the On-Q then the Units may not power on. -

Pre-Wiring (Rough-In) The following section explains the various functions and operational features of the components of the inQuire 1000™. The rough-in of the inQuire™ 1000 Intercom System should be completed during the construction phase of the home and prior to the installation by the Main Console Unit home builder of any wall covering such as drywall. - Page 11 Insert the Intercom Module into the mounting bracket and insert the door to the room.
