ASSEMBLING THE FAN
Place the base on a level steady surface.
1: Remove the screw from the bottom of the
fan head column.
Place the fan head on the lower column.
Replace the screw and tighten it very firmly to
securely attach the head to the base column.
After tightening the screw finger tight, use a
screwdriver to add one quarter turn.
DO NOT disturb the lower screw on the column
base.

Your fan is controlled by a four position switch.
0
switches the fan off.
Your fan can oscillate about its axis for cooling.

selects Low speed
To oscillate the fan press the Oscillator Knob

selects Medium speed
DOWN.

selects High speed
To operate in a fixed position lift the knob UP .

Ensure the switch is set to'0'.
Warning: Ensure that the fan can oscillate

Your fan can be angled up or down.
Switch the fan off

The fan head pivots around the pivot screw in
the neck.
Hold the fan at the back of the
motor housing with one hand and the column
with the other. and gently but firmly angle the
fan up or down.

CARRYING THE FAN
Do not carry the fan by the cage. Hold the fan
column in one hand and the base in the other
when moving the fan.
When moving the fan always ensure that it is

switched off and unplugged at the mains point.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Plastic components may be cleaned with a mild
detergent lightly applied to a damp cloth. Remove
all traces of detergent with a clean damp cloth and
dry thoroughly before operating the appliance.
The exterior surfaces of the appliance should be
cleaned occasionally in the manner described
above.
Never spray liquid onto any part of the appliance or
allow liquids to run into the interior of the appliance.
No other maintenance is required. There are no
user serviceable parts in the appliance and
unauthorised dismantling of the motor or base will
render the warranty void.
When not in use, the appliance should be securely
stored away from sources of moisture and heat
and where children and pets cannot access the
unit.
WARRANTY
Your Tesco appliance is covered by a warranty for
12 months from the date of purchase. If a fault
develops during this period, please return it
together with your original purchase receipt to
your nearest Tesco store.
This warranty in no way affects your consumer
rights.
