INTRODUCTION
Before using this appliance please read all these
notes and instructions carefully and famliarise
yourself with the features of your new fan. In
particular, please study the assembly
instructions before commencing assembly.
UNPACKING AND ASSEMBLY
Unpack all the items carefully and remove all
plastic wrappings from the component parts.
Check the fan and components. If any items are
damaged or missing, please return the
appliance for replacement to the store you
purchased it from, or to your nearest Tesco
store. Remember to take your receipt.
Retain the packing, or if you decide to dispose of
it, make sure that you do so with due regard to
any recycling provisions currently in force.
Assemble the fan on a sturdy workbench. You
will need a No 1 and No 2 Posidriv screwdriver.

before joining the two parts togther.

ATTACHING THE COLUMN AND BASE
Remove the screw from the base of the column

ASSEMBLING THE FAN HEAD

Unscrew the guard nut from the motor head by

Unscrew the fan screw so that it is clear of the mounting bush.
Place the fan blade on the spindle and push the blade in as far
as it will go. Now tighten the screw tightly to lock the fan blade
to the spindle.

Pull the fan blade slightly to check it is firmly attached.
Remove the Column Screw

Attached to one of the guards
there is a small screw and nut.
Remove these and keep them safe.
Open the side clips of the front guard
fully.
Hook the top clip of the front guard
over the rear guard and pull down to

attach it.
Screw the base to the column
Manoeuvre the front guard so that the
screw holes in both guards line up.
Loosely attach the screw and nut.
Line up the two guards and then shut
the clips to secure the two guards.
Now tighten the screw tightly.
This completes the fan head assembly

B:
Fit the Rear Guard on the motor housing. Place the flat in the
guard over the motor. The handle should be at the top. Replace the
guard nut and hand tighten it firmly.
Fit the fan blade as shown.
