English Congratulations! You have just purchased the exceptional humidifier OSKAR big. It will give you great pleasure and improve the indoor air for you. As with all domestic electrical appliances, particular care is needed with this model also, in order to avoid injury, fire damage or damage to the appli- ance. - Page 6 Preparation for use/operation 1. Place the Oskar big humidifier on a flat surface in the desired area. Plug the mains cable (3) into a electric socket. Use the filling opening (11) to fill the lower part (2) with water up to the maximum mark (14), either at a water tap or with a watering can.

Please be as economical as possible in the use of fragrances, because exces- sive quantities may lead to malfunctions and damage to the appliance. To use fragrances, remove the fragrance container (12) from the filling opening (11).

Repairs/disposal Prior to any maintenance work and repair, switch off the appliance and with- draw the mains cable from the socket. • Repairs to electrical appliances must only be carried out by a qualified electrical technician. If improper repairs are carried out, the warranty lapses and all liability is refused. - Page 9 1 year Limited Warranty A. This 1 year limited warranty applies to repair or replacement of prod- uct found to be defective in material or workmanship. This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from commercial, abusive, unreasonable use or supplemental damage. Defects that are the result of normal wear and tear will not be considered manufacturing defects under this warranty.
