POSITIONS FOR FITTING ISOFIX CHILD SEATS

In conformity with European law (ECE 16), this table shows you the possibilities for the installation of ISOFIX child seats
to seats in the vehicle fi tted with ISOFIX mounting points.
For ISOFIX universal and semi-universal child seats, the ISOFIX size class, defi ned by a letter from A to G , is shown on
the child seat to the right of the ISOFIX logo.

ISOFIX child seats can be
installed on:

Front passenger seat

Outer rear seats

Centre rear seat
IUF: Seat position suitable for installation of an I sofi x U niversal " F orwards-facing" seat attached using the top tether.
IL-SU: Seat position suitable for installation of an I SOFIX S emi- U niversal child seat, either:
-
"rearwards-facing" fi tted with an upper strap or a stay,
-
"forwards-facing" fi tted with a stay,
-
a shell fi tted with an upper strap or a stay.
To attach the upper strap, refer to the "ISOFIX mountings" paragraph.
X: Seat not suitable for installation of an ISOFIX seat of the size class indicated
* The ISOFIX shell, fi xed to the lower rings of an ISOFIX seat, occupies two rear seats.
