Room to Grow
When compared to the previous generation Mustang,
the current Mustang provides more interior room in
key areas for passenger comfort:
• 0.5 inch more front head room
• 1.8 inches more front shoulder room
• 0.4 inch more rear leg room
• 1.3 inches more rear shoulder room

There are three audio systems available:
• A standard 160-watt AM/FM stereo
with a single-disc CD player and
4 speakers
• Shaker 500-watt system includes two
8-inch subwoofers mounted in the front
doors, two 90-watt subwoofer amplifier
drivers, two full-range speakers in the
rear and a 6-disc in-dash CD changer
with MP3 capability

Audio Systems

Be sure to show your customers how the controls work on various
audio systems. Let them try out features such as Seek and Scan,
and the CD player controls. Keep a variety of CDs on hand just
for this purpose.

• A 1,000-watt Shaker Audiophile
System adds two 10-inch
subwoofers in the trunk powered
by four 85-watt amplifiers. The
bass chamber has the same volume
as the old unit while leaving more
room for luggage. The new
subwoofers, mounted to the trunk's
right side, use about a third of the
space of the system previously
offered in Mustang
