9.4. Attaching the Navigation System
Connect the car adapter and, if necessary, insert the memory card.
Place the device below in the centre of the holder.
Press it gently backwards until it engages audibly.
Now you will be able to place the complete unit on the cleaned windscreen or
the suction.
9.5. Connecting the Car Adapter
Plug the jack of the connection cable into the corresponding receptor of your
navigation system s.
Insert the power adapter into the cigar lighter socket ensuring, that it will not
lose contact while driving. This could cause a malfunction.
PLEASE NOTE!
Remove the power adapter from the cigarette lighter socket when
ending a trip or when parking the car for a extended period of time.
Otherwise the car battery could be drained. In this case use the power
switch to turn off the navigation system. The car adapter has got an
integrated TMC antenna within the cable. TMC can only be received, if
the car adapter is connected.
