External CD changer

CD changer

The external CD changer (option) is mounted
behind the panel on the rear left side of the
cargo compartment.
Turn the SOURCE knob to activate CD
changer mode. The CD changer resumes
playing the disc and track that was playing last.
If the CD changer magazine is empty
"LOAD CARTRIDGE" is displayed.
Loading discs in the CD changer:
1. Slide open the CD changer cover.
2. Press the cartridge eject button on the
changer.
3. Pull out the CD cartridge and insert the
discs.
4. Reinsert the cartridge in the CD changer.
Selecting disc number
Turn the PRESET/CD knob. The numbers of
the disc and the track are shown in the display.

Fast forward
Press and hold
or the entire disc.
The search continues as long as the button is
depressed.
Changing tracks
Press or
track. The track number is shown on the
display.
The steering wheel keypad can also be used for
this.
Scanning
Scan plays the first ten seconds of each track.
Press the SCAN or EXIT button when you find
a song or track you wish to listen to.

Random
Press RND (for HU-650 and 850) to activate
the Random function.
If you have audio system HU-450, use the
REV button. A randomly selected track is
chosen from a randomly selected disc. Then a
new track is selected in the same way. "RND"
(random) is displayed as long as the function is
activated.
NOTE! If the quality of the CD does not comply
with the standard EN60908, or if it has been
recorded using poor equipment, sound quality
may be poor or playback interrupted.
IMPORTANT!
Use only standard 12 cm CDs - no smaller.
Do not use CDs with a sticker label.
Heat from the CD player could cause the
label to let loose from the disc,
possibly damaging the CD player.
